Designed and purpose-built from the ground up to be far superior to the antiquated tractor-mounted boom mower!
The MowerMax Boom Mower is a transformative boom mowing machine with quite ISO mounted cab, simple joystick controls, a tilt steering column with telescoping steering wheel, a plush, air-ride seat with tilt & lumbar and an 6.2in AM/FM/DVD stereo with Bluetooth and optional backup camera!
The MowerMax Boom mower has incomparable operator visibility with its cab forward design that greatly enhances the operators visibility making for a much better and safer cutting experience. Additionally, the right side of the cab has a totally unobstructed view. (See picture to the right) This right side window is also made of 1/2in Lexan to protect the operator from any thrown objects. Lastly, all MowerMax Boom mowers come with a helical actuator with 180 degree boom rotation so the operator place the boom where he or she has the best visibility.
The MowerMax Boom is designed from the ground up to have a low center of gravity, unlike tractor mounted boom mowers. Additionally the counterweights, with integrated operator steps, are mounted directly opposite the boom for maximum benefit and it’s easy to add additional 1400lbs. counterweights for even more stability. These features combined with the rear axle stabilizer system, make the MowerMax an extraordinarily stable machine.
The MowerMax has hydrostatic, 2 speed transmission which is operated by two foot pedals and comes with permanent 4 wheel drive with 45% limited slip front axle and 100% operator controlled rear differential lock. Most importantly the MowerMax Boom has 4 wheel steering with three different steering modes: 1) 4 Wheel Steer 2) Front Wheel Steer or 3) Crab Steer. These three steering modes allows the MowerMax to be extremely maneuverable and productive. Lastly all of MowerMax booms come with 180 degree rotation with a helical actuator for maximum operating flexibility.
The MowerMax Boom has serious versatility! It has 4 different types of boom head options: 1) 60in or 50in Rotary Deck, 2) 50in Fecon Mulching Head, 3) 60in Grass Flail of 50in Brush Flail and 4) 48in, 69in or 90in Saw Blade Heads. Additionally, the MowerMax Boom has a quick disconnect system so that an operator can change out boom heads in under 5 minutes! The MowerMax also has an optional front lift arms with a universal quick attach mount! This mount allows you to use over 30 skid steer attachments such as the broom pictured to the right.
ATMAX Equipment Co. knows that boom mowing often happens on busy roads under rough conditions, so safety of the operator and the machine are of utmost importance! So the MowerMax comes with: 1) 1/2in Lexan Glass on boom side, 2) ROPS & FOPS – Most tractors and other purpose built boom mowers only have ROPS even thoughall trim trees with them, 3) Bright Yellow Powder Coated Paint, and 4) 2 front LED daytime running lights, 2 reflective SMV diamonds, 2 – SAE Class 1 strobes, 1 – 35in LED directional control bar, 12 amber/white mini LED flashers, 5) over 30ft of reflective decals and DOT tape and 6) tow large extendable rearview mirrors.

The 60in or 50in rotary deck is a very heavy duty deck made with reinforced 9 gauge deck plate! With its two large, 5/8 inch thick sling blades, mounted to a massive 1in thick blade bar, this heavy duty mower mower will turn easily tame the roughest vegetation! The blade spindle/gear box has a heavy 3.5in diameter shaft with two sealed tapered bearings. Also, both decks come with optional 90 degree swivel in order place the deck out in front of the tractor and right next to the road. Lastly, you can also get an our optional Quick Disconnect System allowing you to change boom attachments in 5 minutes!
The MowerMax 50in mulching head attachment made by Fecon, the world leader in mulching attachments, is the perfect tool to tame really wild vegetation and trees! With the mulching head, there is no need for a chipper or grapple truck as it turns everything into small mulch. The mulching head can easily mulch 6in-8in trees. The mulching head also comes with an optional 180 degree swivel actuator allowing the head to reach more places. Lastly, the optional Quick Disconnect System enables one to change boom attachments in 5 minutes .
The SawMax saw blade boom attachment can easily and cleanly trim trees limbs up to 8in in diameter. The SawMax comes in three different sizes: 1) a 48in carbide tipped, blade that is powered directly by a heavy duty, bent axis piston motor, 2) a 69in, triple blade saw thats is belt driven by a heavy duty, bent axis piston motor and 3) a 90in, quad saw blade that is belt driven by a heavy duty, bent axis piston motor. All three SawMax have the optional 180 degree actuator that allows teh operator to swing the boom in infinite different positions and then rotate the saw to be parallel with the tires. So no matter how narrow the road is, the operator can adjust the saw to trim trees on all width roads.
The FlailMax boom attachment can easily and cleanly trim trees limbs up to 5in in diameter. The FlailMax comes in two different sizes: 1) a 50in wide Heavy Duty model with a 3/8in think blade for cutting heavy grass, brush and trees up to 5in and a 60in wide model for cutting grass and small trees up to 2in. Both are powered by a heavy duty, bent axis piston motor. Both FlailMax boom attachments also have the optional 180 degree actuator that allows the operator to swing the boom in infinite different positions and then rotate the flail mower to be parallel with the tires. So no matter how narrow the road is, the operator can adjust the flail to mow on all width roads.
The optional Front Lift Arms with universal skid steer mounting plate easily turns any MowerMax Boom into a multiuse tool carrier!
